FIELD NOTES

STELLER’S JAY — In 2022 I started playing around with watercolor, enamored with the nature journal aesthetic. It combines some of my skills and interests – painting, lettering, info graphics, nature. Available in prints and cards. More to come. 

I’ve learned a lot since embarking on my “Field Note” series: about each species and the incredible diversity of beings with which we share this planet.
I started out with birds (of course), then moved to woodland critters. From there, I branched out to do a fish series for an interactive display on a major waterway in the Pacific Northwest.
